Erin Corrales Diaz

Erin Corrales Diaz, newly appointed curator of American Art at TMA stewards TMA’s renowned holdings of American art and will also collaborate with the curatorial team on the reinstallation of the Museum’s collections, with an aim to broaden art historical narratives for a more accessible and inclusive experience.  Corrales-Diaz will present on TMA’s upcoming exhibition Black Orpheus: Jacob Lawrence and the Mbari Club, which explore the connection between African American artist Jacob Lawrence and his contemporaries based in the Global South through the Nigerian publication Black Orpheus.
