Founder of Black Art Library
Asmaa Walton received her undergraduate degree in Art Education from Michigan State University and her Master’s in Art Politics from NYU (Tisch). Asmaa is the founder of Black Art Library, which provides a platform for community accessibility and engagement with the rich legacy of Black art, aesthetics, and history. The collection includes artist monographs, exhibition catalogs, children’s books, artist memoirs, artist biographies, and art history texts.
